<p>Hello Everyone,
I have received all my college acceptances and now is the time to choose between them. At the top of my list are Brandeis and UMichigan. I plan on focusing on finance in college, and while Brandeis seems a good option, it doesn’t offer it as a major. Would this be a problem? I was also accepted to UMichigan’s Ross Business School undergraduate program, which I guess has a better rep, but I’m not really sure how great it would be because I’ve never had an opportunity to sit through any classes at UMich. Any ideas/ comparisons between the two schools? I would appreciate anyone’s advice, but current students at either school would be great to hear from.

<p>Michigan and Brandeis are very different schools. You need to think about what is a better fit for you. Very, very large state school or small liberal arts college. In terms of finance, if you graduate from Brandeis with a BA in business and econ, you will be an extraordinarily desired candidate for a finance job. You could take many finance classes at the international business school. <p>I hate to do this as I am a Brandeis Mom, but I would vote for Ross. It is very distinguished, and hard to get into, with a fabulous reputation. Brandeis’ undergraduate business program is new and untested. If you are sure you want business go to Ross.</p>
