<p>I have heard of this phrase in reference to Brandeis several times but have no idea what Brandeis Goggles are. Anyone care to elaborate?</p>
<p>i dont go to brandeis, but i'm pretty sure that brandeis goggles make you think people on campus are more attractive than they actually are. apparently there's a dearth of good-looking people there (dunno how much truth is in this), and so in order to hook up with anyone you have to put on your brandeis goggles to make them look better so you can actually have some action during your college years. similar to how beer goggles work.</p>
<p>I guess two of my buddies will need a pair next year since they never visited campus. They were offered serious merit $$$. Perhaps the goggles are included in the merit package. Maybe others will need goggle to see them since beauty is in the eye .................</p>

<p>It's so tempting to go ahead and agree with some of you, but I am a Brandeis student--so anybody else could say the same thing about me!</p>
<p>I think most Brandeis students don't really care too much about how they look. For example, most people here, including myself a lot of the time, usually dress like crap. When I'm all decked out in a suit for a med school interview, for example, I look much better. People are here to learn, not to get modeling contracts. Of course, if being slobby and unkempt on the wrong day keeps the man/woman of your dreams from noticing you, then you might be kicking yourself later. </p>
<p>The bright side to all this is, for me at least, is that I'm less distracted by women and more focused on doing well in school. So everything has its advantages</p>

<p>well my sister goes to brandeis, and she is gorgeous! (and that is WITHOUT these "brandeis goggles") in fact, Miss Massachusettes' sister goes there (my sister's best friend) and she is gorgeous too. so if any guys are distracted, its because they are there.</p>

<p>So, you could be getting laid by ugly people. There's nothing saying only good-looking people are allowed to bag somebody. I won't go into how that is pretty abnormal here anyway, as most people who are getting it on here are in steady relationships. If you're looking for free love, try the '60s or another school because it ain't happening here.</p>
