So for my supplemental essay I had written the one about why I want to attend Brandeis, but I think I want to change to the one about the unjust law that should be changed. I was thinking about writing about women’s rights/freedom of speech suppression under Taliban rule, but I feel like that could go to cliche. I want to connect it to how I want to study social justice and journalism.
Any thoughts would be great!

Another question: Do you think it’s okay to kind of talk about a class of laws, as long as they are all very similar/related?

I think it’s okay to focus on a class of laws, but it’s better to be specific so you can pinpoint its injustice in the 250 word limit given.

I think it’s a great idea to connect too! It definitely will link your thoughts and interests together, appealing to the admissions officers :)
