I have been accepted to both and both seem like good schools. I plan on dual majoring in philosophy and computer science. I also plan to go on to Law School. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

As a Brandeis parent, you can imagine which way I’d vote ;)

For more informed opinions, try posting your question on each school’s forum:

Good luck

Can you please elaborate?

thanks

These two schools are so different culturally that they are difficult to compare.

These are the words I associate with each of their cultures:

Brandeis: intellectual; social justice; liberal; Jewish; nerdy, New England; egalitarian; Div III sports

Lafayette: preppy, jocks, Protestant, rich, mid-Atlantic, Div I sports

Admittedly, these are stereotypes and I have no doubt that you will find students at each of these schools who don’t fit the stereotype, and I have no doubt that one can obtain a good education at either. But these are very different places.
