Brandeis or Northeastern

I have narrowed it down to these two schools. I will be majoring in business. Northeastern has a great business school and an awesome coop program but Brandeis is ranked higher. These two schools couldn't be anymore different one in suburban area and the other right in the middle of the city. My gut tells me to go with Northeastern but brandeis is ranked higher. Any insight would be great.

Northeastern definitely. Brandeis offers few types of business majors, so it’s business program isn’t a strong part of their academics. Northeastern has a majority of students studying business, with different programs to choose from. Remember that rankings shouldn’t play an important part in the college search, but where you fit in better should.

No comparison between these two schools. Brandeis is a liberal-arts, intellectual powerhouse. It’s highly ranked and prestigious for a reason, and it’s alumni, including those in business, are highly accomplished. The new Brandeis business major is innovative and associated with the International Business School. However, if you’re looking for a more vocational experience, with fewer options outside of business (in case that doesn’t pan out), Northeastern and its coop program can’t be duplicated.

simplejack- are you Jewish and if so, is your religious life something that is of importance in your overall college experience?
