I’m guessing I got accepted midyear because of lowish ACT scores? After research it means I become a normal student after enrolling in January, but I don’t understand why they do this. Anyone care to explain?

@aidenm can you post what your acceptance letter said?

no decision yet… lulz

Well ****, they required some sort of financial document? I didn’t even get considered because I didn’t fill one out, and they didn’t email me saying anything was missing.

Heres my letter

http://oi46.■■■■■■■.com/2qmn214.jpg

^Financial Aid Application / VIDOF

I’m not applying for financial aid, so figured, like most universities, I wasn’t required to fill anything out. It’s either that or not having TOEFL, but my scores on CR/writing were high enough to have that waived, which I thought would go automatically, again like at other universities, but i see now that they require you to apply for a waive.

It’s weird that they didn’t once email me to say that I was missing something.

I’m actually ****ed off that they would send me an email telling me to find out whether I got in or not, just for the “status update” to say

“Thank you for your interest in Brandeis University. At this time our deadline has passed and your application remains incomplete. We were unable to evaluate your application for admission and have placed it with our inactive files. I regret that we are unable to give further consideration to your application.
You have our best wishes for a meaningful and satisfying continuation of your studies.”

Well ****ing tell me so beforehand so that I can do something about it.

I got rejected too : (
3.8 WGPA
2160 SAT (M690, R740, W730)
M2 800, M1 700, Latin 700 (didn’t really study), Lit 690
5s on all my APs, taking 4 APs this year, having taken a total of 8 APs

Took college courses at Georgetown over the summer got As in Intro to IR and Microeconomics

Great essays, upward trends, good recs, had a fantastic interview

WHERE DID I GO WRONG? Brandeis was one of my top choices…
