I’m filling out the application and the supplement has a section for additional information. would it be a good idea to include why i want to attend brandeis in that box since they don’t ask for an essay about it?

uh...there was a section about additional information? i don 't remember that. uh oh. =x

I sent in a short (~300 word) "Why Brandeis" essay as a supplement, mostly because I think it showed a really important side of me that my regular essay didn't. If it's something significant, just send in a supplemental essay. Nothing too long. I put mine on the cover letter for my application to make sure my application reader saw it. the two admissions people i spoke to sound pretty enthusiastic about it, so if you think its important, find a way to send it in some how!

(side note: in my essay i mentioned that i'm from the speaker's district. but it's wrong now--i'm proud to say i'm no longer from the speakers district! yes! AH HAH HAH....)
