Do you guys know how they chose the blue ribbon applications. I got one with very low Stats (1220 M+V, 3.5uw)..... I think if you were on the mailing list they sent you one because I dont stand a chance of getting in.... However I believe you will be accepted and may even get scholarship

Thats weird, I got one too with so so scores (650V 670M 650W), but I have been on the mailing list for a while. I was considering applying through common app. Just because its easier, but do you think they give priority for using the blue ribbon app?

What are these blue ribbon apps? I have been on their mailing list (i think) and I sent my SAT scores to them in may and june (750V 720M 740W) and don't know anything about this.

Last year, the blue ribbons typically went to out of state applicants that visited/showed interest. Also, last year, Brandeis sent letters to parents asking if they had anything to add - if your mom gets one of these, tell her to take it seriously, and include a letter. I think the OP has an excellent chance for admission, and a good shot for a merit scholarship.
