So I’m a rising junior ECN major and I have almost everything planned out except for my breadth requirement.
I can either do a mini-minor in Linguistics (probably 103a, 103b, 150) or take two intro music theory classes (I took AP music theory in HS so I have that going for me, and that fulfills MUS 10)
Does anyone have experience with either upper division Linguistics or the Music 3 series? I really like Linguistics - LIN 1 with Menard-Warwick was easy and interesting - but it would probably be slightly more challenging, and I play music every day and have already taken theory classes so it might be easy as well. I’m basically on the fence regarding this. My Pass 2 isn’t until the 29th so I have time to decide but I’m not sure at all.
The only difference between the two is that the mini-minor would be 3 classes while the music requirement would only be 2. And I need extra units to reach 180 anyway.
