Break a leg, everyone auditioning this weekend!

grayhairedman, join the club along with me and md311mt. I guess we all had the same idea about combining those schools into one trip. We don’t fly out of Cincinnati until Sunday morning so I just picked up tickets for my son and I to see Patti Austin sing Ella with the Cincinnati Pops on Saturday night. Hopefully our sons will end up together in either of these great schools. Best of luck to everyone.

My S is a theatre major and will not be auditioning again until Unifieds in NYC.

Prodesse, the only audition he did not want to talk about was the school that he eventually was not accepted into… The others he was able to talk about but once an audition is over, it is over and he looks onward to the next one(s). My D is a sophomore at Shenandoah and she is the same way… Break legs to all his weekend!!!

Break legs to all those going to audition for the Ohio Theatre Alliance this weekend!
May it be a very successful and prosperous weekend to all!

:)

Anyone else at Syracuse Friday, Ithaca Saturday (this weekend)?

mcpcwhite - We are already here for D’s audition tomorrow. She isn’t MT, but is auditioning into the Conservatory tomorrow. She’s at the school today for an Invitational Orchestra, so her audition day will be a little different. Shenandoah is a great school and the people there are quite wonderful. Hope the audition goes well tomorrow!

Yes we arrived in WInchester today and the town surrounding Shenandoah seems quite lovely. Trying to just have a quiet early night before the big day tomorrow!

My son is auditioning for MT at Ithaca College tomorrow. He is calm and relaxed. He never gets nervous - not for auditions, not for shows, not when singing solos in front of hundreds of people. I, on the other hand, am a nervous wreck. I keep wondering, why oh why couldn’t he have wanted to be an accountant?!

Break a leg to all the kids auditioning this weekend! And to my fellow MT moms and dads, hang in there. I’ll try to do the same.

Break legs…those in Winchester, my daughter said it was beautiful today, hope the weather holds up for you!

Finally after all the planning, we are on our first college audition road trip. D just finished her MT audition at James Madison. We LOVED the program, people and facilities. The JMU campus is beautiful. Definitely crossing our fingers on this one. Driving to NJ for an audition at Rider on Monday. Enjoying the journey together!

Parent/child time - that’s what it’s all about! Best to all. The weather looks like it is going to be okay - maybe just cold - in the Northeast area.

Here’s to happy healthy kids this weekend!

Winchester was fine. Did you get to the Collage Concert Friday night? It was awesome. Daughters auditions went well. If you were in OBT before the auditions started, she was the Bass & Tuba player! hope your day was just as good!
