I'm a junior in the US and want to apply to UoT my senior year, but its been a bit difficult trying to find out information on the application process and exactly what is needed. I know that the requirements are different for each program of study, but I plan on going into life science. Also, I'm in IB and also taking AP courses so I was wondering if they take any of the credit I will be getting from that or not. I'm also confused on the different colleges that you have to put down in the application process for the St. George campus. Does it matter which one I put down or is each one different? What makes them different?

Here are the requirements for US applications to U of T. http://www.artsci.utoronto.ca/futurestudents/admissions/high-school-students/us-highschool

To the best of my knowledge, Canadian universities don’t give credit for AP courses. Canadian students in life sciences will have taken two years of biology and two years of chemistry, in addition to two years of general science in grades 9 and 10, prior to their admission to university.

Each college at U of T is different. There is a link on the page I referenced above for information on the different colleges. You will most likely be staying in residence at the college for the first year at least. Some of them are more selective than others. Some require a supplementary application. The types of accommodation and types of meal plans available vary between colleges. The locations on campus vary. Each college has different traditions.
