<p>Mom - CPU received an outside scholarship for $4,000. So she’ll have $4,000 in hand instead of working for it and paying part of the student contribution.</p>
<p>I think CPU was upset that work-study isn’t really aid because you have to work for the money. But, Harvard could have just as well offered CPU a stafford loan instead of work study and then possibly it would have been perceived differently.</p>
