I resigned a lease for the channing bowditch apartments for next year, but I feel that it was a mistake. Has anybody backed out of a school lease before? I hear it's a hectic process, but some insight would be helpful. Thanks.

Go over to housing as soon as you’re sure you really want to do this. I am surmising, but think that this early on, you shouldn’t have a problem. There will be plenty of students who will want to take your place, both upper division and transfers. The transfer students will not have their decisions until next month, and once they have been accepted, they will be applying to Channing Bowditch. So you picked the opportune time to change your mind.

Talk to Ellen Levitan as soon as possible. It shouldn’t be a problem as long as she can sign an incoming transfer in your place.
