So I was accepted into Brown ED, but didn’t receive the the Financial Aid package with my acceptance because I had forgotten to submit a document. I have since submitted the document and Brown has received it, but I haven’t received the Financial Aid offer yet. The Financial Aid Office closes the 23rd and reopens the 3rd. If I have not heard back from Brown by the 23rd, can I still apply to other school Regular Decision? I need to have those applications in by the 1st in case Financial Aid doesn’t work out, but may not hear back about that until the 3rd. Of course if the financial aid worked out I would withdraw my applications, but I don’t know if it will. Would submitting RD applications while in an ED contract get me kicked out of ED? Would it also hurt my chances at other schools?
This is a pickle, though I think you can go ahead with your apps until your FA comes in without fear. Call and ask to be clear.
Dude you’ll be fine, trust me. I was freaking out just like you, but brown has such a nice endowment I promise you’ll be fine. If the package is unaffordable, then appeal it and you will get something affordable, but it will be fine trust me. Don’t bother with other apps, brown will

Did you ask FA when you might get the aid offer?
Call the admissions office ASAP to discuss this. Tell them that you need the FA offer before the 23rd or you will be sending in apps to other schools.
