I have just obtained my ultra-exclusive horoscope for March 31st, yes that is decision day...well maybe not for me because I'm afraid to check, but I probably will anyway, so yes, decision day. ANYWAY, it says:

**
Nothing is turning out as you expected. For once, that's a good thing.**

Everyone please tell me how you interpret this horoscope!!!! I MUST KNOW what it means!!!!!!!!! :)

I forgot to mention, my horoscope for Dec. 10th aka the day of my deferment (or however you spell it) was totally accurate, it said something like "you are being greeted with unexpected challenges...however, begin to think about what it will take to accomplish these goals, even if it will be more difficult than you originally thought" AND I was like oh no, this means I got deferred...and I was right!! Horoscopes don't lie people :)

lol I'm sure it's a coincidence. But hey, knowing myself I would think the same thing myself lol I'm sure you'll get in. Which school within Cornell did you apply for?

CAS...haha, so what do you think it means?!?! It's def better than my other stupid horoscope, I already knew I would be shot down when I read that. I don't believe in coincidences :p

Well, I guess if you are worried about getting in because you think your stats aren't as competitive as the other applicants, then maybe March 31st will come as a delightful surprise. However, it could be a delightful surprise in another issue regarding your life, but hey at least it's a good thing right? lol However, even though it's fun interpreting these kind of things, whether you get in or not, don't get so attached to this horoscope reading okies? lol
btw, do you know when CAS applicants will know if they got in or not? All these other applicants from the other schools seem to already know...

They are applicants to rolling schools, CAS isn't rolling...you can check your decision online on March 31st. And yes, I am very attached to horoscopes, they are always accurate for me ! :)

Congratulations, you are now trapped in an eternal web of ridiculous logic. Whatever you expect will not come to pass, and vice versa; therefore, if you should expect an acceptance from Cornell, it won't come. If not, it will. But by not expecting an acceptance, you will subconsciously be playing to the fact that not expecting it will make it happen, so you really WILL be expecting it and it won't happen. Likewise, if you consciously decide to expect an acceptance, subconsciously something will be nagging at you, reminding you about the horoscope, so that you'll in actuality be expecting a rejection and will, in fact, be pleasantly surprised.

Haha, well thanks for the moral support and encouragment guys...I'm just constantly looking for hope from anywhere possible!! :p I'm glad I can amuse you...funniest person you've ever met? are you laughing at me or with me?? hahahah:)

I think I will get seriously depressed if you don't get in, Nicky. Because that would mean that some other kid who has lackluster spirit and mixed feelings about my true love (Cornell) has taken your place. I like horoscopes, but be sure to check out all of your recent fortunes in fortune cookies. Those rock too!

Yeah, people like Nicky are the reason why I get angry at folks who post messages saying "Oh, i got into cornell but i dont know whether i should accept."
