i was wondering if 10 minutes is too little amount of time to get between girvetz hall and iv theatre 1???

No problem at all. Don't dally, walk straight over, and it should be a hair less than 10 minutes door-to-door.

oh yea, I was putting many of my classes next to each other with 10 mins break between them and I can have a whole free afternoon or morning with no big gaps between classes. But the staffs at the orientation said they wouldn't do that way because it is stressful and you will get bored soon. So I need some more advices, putting classes next to each other a good idea or bad idea?

Get a bike and it'll be no problem.

Putting classes next to each other is too much like hs. You need time for your brain to absorb stuff, to just relax, to network with classmates after a class, for snack and restroom breaks, a quick snooze after pulling an all-nighter, etc.

Try an hour break between some (not all) of your classes. You'll be surprised at how quickly an hour of down time passes, but how much you really need it!

Make sure you're finals don't all fall on the same day!

The orientation staff seemed really into placing students with classes that were back to back...for some reason they favored schedules that way. Therefore I have a class with 10 min inbetween and I'm not sure if that was such a good idea... :-/

mine does differently, she recommends me to spread out my classes cuz I put my classes with only 10 mins break
