<p>To current LU students (or anyone who knows):</p>
<p>Do the residence halls stay open during breaks? Is there some kind of fee? During Winter, is there a way to store your things or are you on your own?</p>
<p>During Winter break you can stay on campus but you need a reason (job, internship, international student). It's free. You just keep your stuff in your room.</p>
<p>During Spring Break you can stay on campus easily, nothing changes.</p>
<p>During the summer, you can stay on campus but need a reason like winter break. They move summer students into one dorm. Everyone has to move out of their rooms. You can store your things in the storage rooms in each dorm.</p>
<p>Can returning students store their winter and storage stuff in the dorms over the summer?</p>
<p>There are storage areas in the residence halls but there are limits (e.g., 3 boxes) and I believe they are "first come, first served."</p>
<p>There's a limit of six boxes for summer storage, and they can't exceed three feet in length, width, or height. If it's a little bit bigger, most of the dorms won't care as they don't actually measure, but you won't be allowed to put your 5x8 rug in storage, for example.</p>
