How many credits do Breath classes have to be? Also - how many classes can you take Pass/No Pass?

Depends upon your college. For Letters and Sciences - minimum of 2 units per breadth course and up to 1/3 of total units can be earned by P grades

For College of Engineering?

I don’t even think CoE has breadth reqs.

crowslayer91 - yes it does. they are a requiement for R&C classes plus a set of “humanities and social studies” courses that must be taken.

Dr. P - download this and you can look up all those CoE policy questions

[Undergraduate Handbook — UC Berkeley College of Engineering](http://coe.berkeley.edu/students/current-undergraduates/advising/advising07-08.pdf/view)

CoE humanities and social studies courses must be minimum of 3 units each. The list of classes qualifying for these credits are specific to CoE, different from the list that satisfy similar L&S breadth requirements.
