<p>Well it depends sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t it, but it’s a decent starting point.</p>

<p>Are you into Basketball? They have one of the best teams in the nation and often give a thrashing to top prep schools like Hotchkiss and Andover.</p>

My daughter applied (and interviewed) at Brewster. I found their Admissions dept. to be extremely helpful and informative. They seem to run a really tight ship academically and I got the feeling that if you were struggling in your classes there would be a lot of support provided. </p>
<p>In the end my daughter chose another school but Brewster might work for you - I strongly suggest you visit and see how it feels.
