Bribing Your Way Into Yale: article

I thought this was a cute article: http://www.yaledailynews.com/article.asp?AID=27431

My admissions rep told me about that. She also mentioned someone who had mailed in a desk (the kind at schools with the chair attached) labeled "This is my seat at Yale." In her words, that was "totally unnecessary".

Hahahahaha. That's hilarious!! You gotta admit, that is DAMN creative. Mad props to that kid, even if it was "unnecessary." :D

haha. haha.

thats cute.

desperate. but cute

A kayak!! haha... that's classic.

Wow, what lengths some will go to... not that I blame them, but I highly doubt it did anything to help. When I visited campus last year it was immediately after they finished going through the RD apps, and they said basically the best they recieved were, as they put it, "lean and hungry," i.e. not packed with extra stuff (resumes, etc.) and bribe attempts, yet still excellent.

if that stuff worked, i'd definitely do it! :) haha

as would I, no hesitation on my part, hehehe ;)
