Brief but beautiful AIM conversation I had with a friend:

COBRA : wow
COBRA : so
COBRA : Penn
COBRA : u sacred?
TheStonedPandas: yeah
TheStonedPandas: this is my rational
TheStonedPandas: so many students worse than me have been accepted
TheStonedPandas: and so many better have been denied
TheStonedPandas: so if i get denied
TheStonedPandas: i’m not going to feel bad
TheStonedPandas: it doesn’t say anything about me as a student or a person
TheStonedPandas: but you’re pretty much a lock
TheStonedPandas: legacy AND h-w
TheStonedPandas: but again
TheStonedPandas: if you don’t get in it doesn’t say anything about you as a person and all that koombayah
!
TheStonedPandas: but i hope you get in, dude

Goodluck ASO/ Pandas...

this time tommorow you'll be partying...

Well, I'll be partying regardless of whether or not I get in or not because, quite frankly, for the reasons presented above I'm honestly not going to feel bad if I don't get in. I'll feel a little disapointed, but I love life too much to sulk forever. If I don't get in i'll have other colleges to apply to! Edit: but thanks for the luck, mate! I wish you the best of luck myself!

thats a really good attitude to have.

but it'll be in vain... because I saw the ED acceptence list.. and you're in.
