Hey college confidential! I messed up this semester and received a NC grade at the end of the semester. :( I got an email saying that I would have to repay some money and it stressed I would have to meet ALL of the requirements at the end of my spring semester to continue receiving bright futures. Am I screwed? I received 2 As 2B+s and a NC my first semester in college and this next semester should be much easier with the classes I am taking. I am also taking summer classes. This semester I am taking 13 hours and, conservatively speaking, I should be able to maintain my 3.4 I have now. I did some math and figured if I do as well as I think I should I will have a 3.6. My first semester I took 13 hours but only got credit for 9. Will there be a problem with me only having 22 credit hours at the end of spring or will my summer classes handle that problem?

I’m unsure if you’re still wondering this…but…

A requirement for the renewal Bright Futures is to have 24 credits by the end of your academic year. If this is your first year having Bright Future, they can give you a remedial period to meet the requirements.
