Bright Futures: Florida Academic Scholar (FAS) Category

<p>I would like to know if Bright Futures superscores ACT in consideration of eligibility for the FAS category of the scholarship. Under their eligibility requirements they state: "Bright Futures uses the best section score from any sitting of the same entrance exam to give the student the best possible overall composite score."</p>

<p>I assume this means that they superscore ACT? I know they superscore SAT but does this mean that ACT is also superscored?</p>

<p>There is some confusion because I was told that no, no superscoring of ACT, but that language is there and in the end it didn’t matter if they superscored my daughter so I didn’t follow up.</p>

<p>Call the Bright Futures office. They are very nice and do seem to know the system pretty well. My daughter’s award wasn’t received by her school and the BF office was able to figure out that she was on the Master List but not some other list.</p>
