Bright Futures Question

If you get under a 3.0 after the fall semester and had the FAS bright futures (100 %) do you have until the spring semester ends to get above a 3.0 to maintain the FAS award, or do you fall to the medallion award (75%) for the spring semester?

Also! if you fail a class (C-) do you have to pay back for the course?

Thanks everyone!

You will be put on probation, but still receive 100 percent. However if your GPA doesn’t rise in the Fall of next year you won’t be able to receive Bright Futures. I’ve heard that you can only go up in Bright Futures not down, meaning if you have 75 percent one year and the next you qualify for 100 percent you can apply for the 100 percent but if you lose the requirement for the 100 percent you can’t step down to the 100 percent.

And I know you have to pay for dropped classes but I’m not sure about failed courses.
