My friend has a 21 ACT: 18 English, 23 Reading, 24 Math, and 20 Science. He's taken the ACT twice, getting a 20 the first time, and now a 21.

How can a 21 ACT be brought up?

How can a 21 ACT be brought up?

considering he took it twice, that's probably where it's going to stay.

Look what you got wrong, study guides: use them.

i went from 25 to 28 and my goal is now 30

Would reading 'getting into the ACT' help much?

Is that the "official" one? I don't think it helps really all that much...I mean just practice, if you have the time, if not, then hope you get the luck of the questions, which is really all we can hope for, that we can answer all the questions.

The official ACT book isn't very helpful at all. If you buy it just for the practice tests, then its worth buying, but otherwise, its tips are worthless and just plain common sense.

Is PR's any good?

PR's act books are excellent. They have good ACT practice tests, they're really helpful. It's a good buy.
