Hi. I was just wondering if we were allowed to bring a silent timer or watch to the testing center on the day of the test to use during the test?
It's a necessity of mine to look at how much time I have left and etc. lol.

yeah you can wear a watch, as long as it does not beep like on the hour etc. I always feel more comfortable wearing a watch while taking a test.

I think they're supposed to let you bring a watch, as long as it doesn't make noise and isn't disruptive. But you might not get lucky; my friends had a proctor who wouldn't let them use watches on the January test :/

^^
If this happens to you, insist on talking to the test supervisor.
If that does not solve the problem tell them that you'll file a complain with the College Board and ETS, and that you know about an instance when "supervisor and proctor have been told they will never be rehired by ETS." (see SAT Monitors Napped, Ignored Rules, Teens Say - washingtonpost.com).
Don't be shy: you have the tight to assert your rights without retaliation.

Here's what the College Board says:

What to bring to the test center

Students should group together everything they must bring for the test beforehand. They must bring:

* Admission Ticket
* Acceptable photo ID (international restrictions may apply)
* Two No. 2 pencils and a good eraser; no pens or mechanical pencils
* Acceptable calculator with fresh batteries

It's also a good idea to bring:

* Snacks (to eat during breaks)
* A watch (without an audible alarm)
* A backpack or bag (to be kept under the seat)
* Extra batteries

Remind students to:

* Bring items that are in good working order
* Use a No. 2 pencil onlyessays written in pen cannot be scanned and will receive a score of 0
* Use equipment with which they are familiar
* Time themselves with a watch
* Store snacks in a backpack or bag
