Bringing A Watch?

I would really like to bring a watch to my AP Exams since I'm always constantly worried about how much time is left (and my teacher said not to rely on the clock in our testing room)

I already have a wraparound watch (don't know if any of you have ever seen those, but it's a basically a watch in a wrap bracelet form, it's a "fashion" type of watch)

But I'm not sure if that would be acceptable for AP testing. Do you guys have any watches that you would reccomend to bring?

If it doesn’t have an alarm, it should be fine.

I’d like to know this too

I have a G-Shock and it beeps at the hour. Will this get me into trouble?

The beeping will get you in trouble. Turn it off, anything that makes any sort of electronic sound = AP test invalidated for you and possibly the entire class. Unless you want lots of death threats from your classmates, don’t bring it.

Turned the sound off, I think its should be good to go.

I wouldn’t bring a watch because you shouldn’t even be worrying about the time.

No, you should definitely bring a watch. In FRQ sections, the proctor doesn’t tell you when your time is going to be up, and you have to pace yourself. If you spend too much time on one FRQ, it’s time to ditch it and move on. Only if you have more time, you can return to it. Especially for something like Lang/Lit/World/US History, you won’t know that you’re low on time till it’s too late. I know someone that got a 3 on an exam even though they knew the material extremely well because they had only 7 minutes for the entire last essay because they didn’t bring a watch and pace themselves. If you have to, a cheap analog (you can be sure analogs normally don’t beep) from Walmart costs $5.
