I know that walking a full size bike into a classroom will be highly unlikely, but what if i get a folding bike. Instead of worrying about locking a bike up to the racks or getting it stolen, I can just fold it up into a compact size and carry it into class and set it next to my seat? Many folding bikes are 16 or 20 inch wheels and the frame folds in half becoming quite compact and light. Has anyone use a folding bike and have brought it into class?? And also it would be very convenient to store it into the dorm rooms

nowone is gonna steal it while its outside of class. It will be light out, and there will be people out and about. I dont know about you but someone walking around with wire cutters in the middle of the day seems kinda weird. Might wanna bring it inside your dorm at night, but during the day just lock it

I wouldn’t worry about the bike being stolen if its locked outside, unless it is an expensive($700+) road bike or mountain bike.
When you don’t lock a bike or if it is very valuable, that’s when its stolen. Blend in.
