Bringing My Horse to Cal Poly

Hello everyone,
I just got accepted ED with Biology as my major. I will be bringing my horse to school with me and was wondering if anyone out there knew a good reliable place to board horses. I already checked out the facilities on campus which were not as good as I had hoped. I would really like a place with an indoor arena but any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much.

Hahaah wha??!

I heard there is some boarding place on Broad Street (about 15 minutes away from campus).

We were going to bring my daughters horse and really liked Cypress Hills stable. It has a regular and large box stalls as well as pipes. It also has a covered arena, inside wash racks, turnouts, and a walker. The box stalls are connected to the covered, so if it is raining you wont get wet. There is also a good hunter/jumper trainer close by, Harley Brown. Good luck to you.

I just had to comment because I think it is so cool that you are bringing your horses to college. Are you on the equestrian team? I wish my D could bring her dog for a taste of home away from home! How nice that you will have your horses with you. Good luck at school!

Believe it or not, I’ve seen advertisements for on-campus horse boarding. Sadly, since I don’t have a horse, I couldn’t tell you anything else about it.
