...bringing sexy back?

its kinda weird, but when people havent heard of like popular songs, celebrites, etc. i kinda feel like..unusually shocked. it kinda reminds me of amish people and they make me uncomfortable. maybe that's why. haha.

According to my interpretation of the lyrics, I think Justin is trying to push aside the chavaunistic sexy (the average rapper, tom cruise) in order to bring back the cool, chivalrous (sp?) kind of sexy back (i.e. that kinda Austin Powers, James Bond sexy). The kind of sexy that makes women weep.

Some of us don't know celebs because we care too much about sports and not that much about entertainment (this is my problem). Some of these people who know every top 40 hit might not be able to say they know that the Buckeyes finally ended the Longhorns streak!!!! (YEAH BUCKEYES!!!) My co-workers are a good example--they go to all these concerts and the only major leaguer my one co-worker can even name is Mike Piazza.

Or it could be genre preferences of music (I'm willing to bet that nobody here has a JJ Stockholm Club Mix of "Call on Me" by Eric Prydz on their iPod).

f.y.i....sexyback may be an awful song, but the rest of the album is amazing. one of the best albums i've heard this year.

No i do not, but i have the regular Eric Prydz version, if that means anything...

Not only have I not heard of this song, but the only thing I've heard Justin Timberlake do since N*SYNC disbanded was some duet with Nelly.

Also, I think the computer generated voice mixed with Justin's is cheating. Anyone can make something sound the way they want with a computer. I thought part of pop music was having a good VOICE...ya know?

Gemstar66--the Stockholm mix has a completely different feel than the regular version. In particular, it has a killer bass line that starts over a minute into the song. Definitely worth listening to.

I wish they would have publicized the Stockholm mix more--most people I know who have the song seem to have either Main Mix or the Radio Edit. But even then, I'm surprised at how many people haven't heard of the song (or any European stuff for that matter).

The song and video are both amazing...definitely great for clubs and dancing. I think JT has redeemed himself well!!! I think if you're a guy and didn't like the "Sexyback" music video, then you might be gay.

and i think if you really believe that logic, then you might be retarded...

When did sexy ever leave?

Best post all day.

i asked that question the second i heard the song. So true.

Such a good song...

Hmm funny. I don't remember ever leaving...? Perhaps I was unconscious.
