I have a 3.3 GPA my sophomore year and i am in a 3rd world county going to a private school that is very difficult. I go back to the states my junior year and i would like to bring it up to a 3.7. I think getting all A’s wouldn’t be hard, so is it possible?
@StephenCurry123 If you can’t calculate a projected GPA based on current and predicted grades (which are all A’s, so it shouldn’t be that hard), then we have bigger fish to fry.
@thisisfine2020 3.3 for the first two years and a 4.0 for the last two years averaged together makes a 3.65, which OP probably rounded. chill out.
@stephencurry123 of course it’s possible, if you work hard, but it’s not the end of the world if you don’t get straight As.
That has literally nothing to do with anything thisisfine said, and it’s probably not even completely accurate considering not every semester might have the same amount of credits/hours/classes. If if is accurate and a 3.65 is as high as OP can go, then no, a 3.7 is not possible, because a 3.65 is not a 3.7.
But I agree to “chill out.” Implying the OP is dumb happens on EVERY ONE of these GPA calculation threads and tbh it’s really grating.
