British shows

Does anyone watch any?
Skins, Misfits, Inbetweeners, Office....anything else?

<---- Note the username

Mock The Week, QI, Spooks (called MI-5 on BBC America), Top Gear, Dragon’s Den, Argumental, Would I Lie to You?, Live at The Apollo (with Jack Dee), That Mitchell and Webb Look, The Armstrong and Miller show, Peep Show.

I might start Peep Show…want to tell me what its about and how good it is…please? (viewers perspective instead of wiki and ruining plot points) haha

haha…and ive seen MI-5 on BBCAmerica but have never looked…

^ Peep Show is a point of view show about two not-so-successful guys in their early thirties. The best way to describe it is as a modern British Seinfeld. I think it’s VERY good. And DEFINATELY check out Spooks on BBC America.

well, i mean i LOVE LOVE seinfeld (like millions of others i guess…)

do u also watch american tv then? just curiouss

^ I am American, I just went to boarding school in London. So yes I do watch American TV.

Extras! I love Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant:)

Doctor Who, Life on Mars, Merlin, whatever Derren Brown is broadcasting at any given point in time, Torchwood (er, when I have no other way to waste my time).

I watch the original Office occasionally (I’m addicted to the US version) and I LOVE Top Gear.

I watched Skins until the end of the second series. I don’t like Effy, so I doubt Id like her friends.

We have BBC America, but I don’t watch that much TV. I’ll watch Kitchen Nightmares and Clean House and You are What You Eat because they’re mindless. My sister watches Robin Hood and Being Human when she’s here, so I’ve seen a bit of those. And the occasional Doctor Who episode.

I love Doctor Who and I ocassionally watch Skins

I wouldn’t be friends with her in real life, but I love Effy’s character. and shes hot.hot.hot. And in series 3, there is only one “friend” that is Effy’s from the start (terrible structure,I know)–It’s pandora from her ep from s2…but she becomes less weirdish and more adorable and starts to have normal hair haha. ok s3 isnt as good, and the first two eps–no lie—are pretty ****TY. third is meh…and then the fourth it takes off until the sucky finale. JJ is the best.

@ MirandaKH

A girl (I assumed from your username) that like Top Gear??? I never though that was possible!

I don’t watch any current British shows, but have seen a lot of old ones - Are You Being Served?, Only Fools and Horses, Yes (Prime) Minister, off the top of my head. Anyone else watched any of these?

^ I love Yes (Prime) Minister! Also I liked “Jeeves and Wooster” Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie are incredible…

^Yes, Jeeves and Wooster is great. I don’t know how I forgot it. Definitely one of my favorites.

I’m British but not much of a TV fanatic so - Top Gear (yes, I’m a girl), Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You, Live at the Apollo, Coal House at the minute, Doctor Who & Torchwood. American TV I watch basically consists of just Gossip Girl (which I’m way, way behind on) and House. (:

^ I love Mock The Week but FRANKIE BOYLE is leaving!!! :(
