<p>Is anyone else here investigating applying to British universities (not just Cambridge/Oxford, but St. Andrews, Edinburgh, UCL, King's College...)? Are there any resources you could suggest (beyond the universities' web sites) for an American student applying British?</p>
<p>I'd look at some American schools that have British locations. I have a letter here from St. Louis University, Madrid, Spain. Quite different...but i would still look at stuff like that</p>
<p>anticatalyst, the/studentroom.co.uk (take out the /) is an excellent resource, sort of like a British CC.</p>
<p>If you go to <a href="http://www.ucas.ac.uk%5B/url%5D">www.ucas.ac.uk</a> they point you to some wonderful resources. The site itself is helpful, but they also have links geared towards international students interested in studying in Britain. </p>

<p>Good luck! I'm applying to six schools in England, but now I'm not so sure it's what I want. The idea of choosing one topic to study for the next three years...yikes!</p>
<p>there are also plenty of books that focus on british universities and even more sites, including bbc, that have stuff like rankings for individual programs.</p>
