<p>Does anyone know about the Broadway Artists Alliance Summer intensive programs? My son is interested in attending in drama and I know nothing about it. Thanks,</p>
<p>A daughter's friend attended one of the summer camps last year and has been raving about it ever since. She thought it was a great experience, and the benefit of having actual working broadway performers as teachers really lifted it over other drama camps she had attended. (I hope I'm remembering correctly, but the camp she had been to for a few years before was something like Backstage Manor?) She also liked the emphasis on musical theater. Sorry I don't have more information!</p>
<p>I have attended several events with Broadway Artists Alliance. It was an experience that I enjoyed very much! Everyone that attended was extremely professional and talented and the program enabled me to grow as a performer. I had the opportunity to study with current Broadway performers, casting directors, and agents. </p>
<p>Along with the one/two week summer intensive, they also have a weekend long winter intensive, and several One Day Master Classes throughout the year. </p>
<p>I auditioned for the current revival of Bye Bye Birdie on Broadway and made it through to the final callback. At every single one of my seven callbacks I knew at least one of the casting directors sitting behind the table through classes I attended at BAA.</p>

<p>I have participated in the Broadway Artists Alliance summer intensive, summer college workshop weekend, and privately coached with some of the staff, and I have been nothing but pleased with the program! =)</p>
<p>After participating in BAA, I felt more than ready for my college auditions! It is a truly amazing and unique program, especially because participants get to study with Broadway professionals. It is also a great opportunity to showcase your talent ESPECIALLY because participants get to perform for an entire panel of agents and casting directors at the end of the intensives. They have one day master classes throughout the year as well.</p>

<p>My daughter is working on her videos for BAA right now and I have a few questions. 1. How professional do these videos have to be? 2. How difficult do you think it is to get into the summer intensives. My daughter is 14 and will be 15 in July before the session starts. THANKs for any advice…</p>
