Trying to choose between the two-- please advise, which one is a better place to live in and has a better social life

edit: also, which one is more convenient? I'm going to the college of business

Do you mean Armory House?

To be honest, I only know people who live in Bromley. I really can’t compare the two. Here’s some links you may have not already noticed:

Armory House: [Private Certified Housing - University of Illinois](http://certified.housing.uiuc.edu/viewprop.asp?id=5)
Bromley Hall: [Private Certified Housing - University of Illinois](http://certified.housing.uiuc.edu/viewprop.asp?id=6)

If you’re a Freshman in Business, then you don’t really need to worry about where you live. Most of the classes you take will be on the Quad anyway.

I don’t know how Armory House is, but Bromley is okay. For me, the food sucked. I liked the room service and having space in my room, but the food was really bad. I kept eating cereal for most of my meals. Usually, dorm food always sucks so you’ll have the same problem everywhere.

Bromley is like 3-4 blocks away from the Quad. It’s very close to the Armory Building. People do go out a lot so sometimes, you will hear drunk people in the hallway around 3 in the morning. It’s not too bad. You get used to everything.
