Hi it's david I'm applying to the brooklyn college ba md program and I was wondering how competitive it is?
Can you give me some advice?

@david11230, the Brooklyn college BA/md program is pretty competitive. Minimum SATs mid 1400s, minimum GPA is 95. Lots of volunteering health related. Probably need higher stats, the above are the bare minimum. I had one of my kids attend the Brooklyn BA/md and another sophie davis. Look into that option as well. Good luck!

I made it into Brooklyn with a 1460, 35 ACT, and 806 volunteering hours, among other things. The interview is not with doctors or anybody related to biology/medicine (I interviewed with the Dean of Art) so it will be a fairly informal interview. They like volunteering and want to see that you are a person, not a robot being driven by your parents to medicine.

Hi it’s david again I have a 92 gpa and 1500/1600 sat now
On their website it says “students are recommended to have a minimum 90 gpa and 1200 sat”
So why does it say that then?

So they can reach down and grab some exceptional student who overcame many obstacles in life to get that minimum GPA.
