College: GWU
GPA: 3.87, 17 credits Full course load for three semesters
Activities: Student Radio, Writer/Sales Rep for campus paper, President of Running Club
Recs: One was probably decent, one was really ****ing good
Essays: Straightforward, nothing fancy or showy. I told them exactly why I was leaving, why I wanted Brown. It's all a matter of honesty, no posturing involved.</p>

<p>Good luck to everyone else. My Finaid is still pending. Barring a crap package, I'll be there in the Fall.</p>

<p>Marcus_Agrippa, or anyone else for that matter, do you have an official number for how many applied and were accepted? There's been a lot of speculation and disappointment, too.</p>

<p>No idea, but they used the phrase "small group" when talking about how many they admitted. I think it's becoming very clear that this year was extremely competitive.</p>
