Brown - 2007 Transfer Thread

Hey, at least we know people are getting in! to me this indicates their acceptance rate this year isn't abysmally low. Congratulations everyone :)

I wonder how long it would take for the letter to reach Hong Kong.... a week? Been rejected by two schools already, not having a lot of faith anyway...

Nothing here. Mail just came. (Boston area.)

The woman said that all decisions were mailed Monday to permanent addresses.

I guess USPS is just unpredictable.

Just got my ACCEPTANCE today! woohoo!

btw I also got my rejection from Pomona..

only thing that sux is that id owe 30,000 for two years plus 2400 in work study. i am NOT from a rich family (or even middle class)

30k for two years at a school with a sticker price of ~45k a year is very good. I would definitely take out loans if that's an option for you as a Brown education/degree is well worth 30k.

Who else is still waiting? Where do you live?

renix, what's your EFC?

has anyone who has heard gotten rejected yet?

congrats renix!

im still waiting in CA

waiting in detroit...rejection?? ahh just makes my decision easier...go big red!!

yeah, seriously. i think the trend is becoming clear.

waitlisted in northeast pennsylvania

toaster -- you clearly don't know much about brown. there's only one college.

maybe brown just let in almost everyone. wouldnt that be nice

accepted in texas

It really looks like they're accepting more this year.

my efc was like 10,000. plus 6000 in federal loans and 2200 in work study ( i may have said that).

it said they had over 1000 applicants, i wonder how many got in.

still nothing in yay area
