Good luck!

thanks. and i called brown to day and they said they dont have a specific day for the admissions decision…idk…they might tell us closer to the day…

Hi everyone,

I’m also an ED applicant to Brown. I’ve received my user and password and everything looks ok, except that my school transcript, report and my evaluations haven’t been received. I’m an international student, so I had to send them by mail. The post date is 31st of October and the tracking on usps.com says that everything arrived in New York on the 4th of November. However, since then, there’s no update on usps.com and they don’t appear as received on brown.edu.

I heard that sending papers by us mail isn’t very safe but sending them by dhl or ups meant almost 200$.

Should I be worried or are my papers probably somewhere in the pile of mail they’re working through right now?

Adeyadi–Were you contacted via phone or e-mail for your interview???

Adriana–I wouldn’t worry. Keep in mind that Brown is still processing through every piece of paper they’re been inundated with. If anything, I would call the Brown admissions office and just check to make sure. Then again, USPS is not a service I’ve used often, so you might want to call their support staff to voice your concern. It never hurts to ask. =]

Good luck to both of you!

I have an interview tomorrow, eep! My interviewer is from the old school class of '60. o_o I think it’s a testament to how cool Brown is that people still want to be involved with it almost 50 years after they graduate. I was contacted by email, btw.

the CLASS of 1960? your getting interviewed by someone in their seventies? that’s so intense!

Haha, I know. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t terrified. xD

I just want to know already! Haha.
Of course, good luck to all :)

So, I just realized that I hadn’t introduced myself yet. Whoops!
Heyyyyyy everybody! I’m Dylan from Upstate New York! :)

I suppose I’ll intro myself as well. I’m Michael from Atlanta, GA. I love Brown. That’s about it :D

@Adriana: Relax, take it eaaaaaassssssyyyyyy :p

(Win if you get the reference)

Oh and I’m not too comfortable giving out my name on CC, sorry :-/

Tetris–Excellent choice in reference (actually, I can’t say “Relax” without adding the rest of the lyric). You still haven’t told me what you think of the songs I forced you to download!

Hi Michael! I love your screenname; I’m guessing it’s from Spring Awakening? Because, not gonna lie, the song got stuck in my head as soon as I saw your post. Haha.

And hi to Dylan, too! =]

Spring Awakening = <3. Just sayin’.

Dramacratic: hi i was contacted through email. I think they would do that for all interviews because they do not know the time convenience etc…

so I googled my interviewers name (got my interview next week) and I turned up nothing!! have tried multiple search engines and tried to associate her with a company but she seems pretty incognito…
Any guesses as to what this means? Recent graduate? :p

@Dramacratic: I wholeheartedly approve of your musical choices :)

i LOVE spring awakening!
have you guys seen/heard next to normal? i’ve been obsessed since before it even previewed lol

oh my godddd we’re all the same people. <3 mika and spring awakening. haven’t seen n2n, but my friends keep telling me i have to go.

<3 <3 <3 Mika.

I’m not too well-versed when it comes to musicals though. I hope that we all can hop on a train from Providence to NYC and change that one day :P

I’ve been wanting to see that for SOOOO long. I’m considering getting the soundtrack and listening to it until I know every single word, and then hope my Christmas present is a ticket to go see it, hahah.

This is going to sound prettttty stupid, but are you still in NYC??? I’m on Long Island, haha! =]
