Brown 2014 - ED applicants

Yay! Lots of people online at the same time :)

Tetris–Ivy and I are taking you on a grand Broadway tour once you cross the pond. Get ready.

ah, if only :)

If only what?

@Dramacratic: I’d hop over right now if I could. LET’S DO THIS!

Ahhhh, I love Mika and Spring Awakening, too!! <3 <3
Any In the Heights Fans??

i think there is a lot of people here from ny. im from long island now. i used to live in manhattan =( mis the place=(

In the Heights is one of my absolute FAVORITE shows! I’m listening to the soundtrack as we speak–err, type. <3<3<3<3

@Adeyadi: Really? I’m in the city all the time…not sure if I’d be able to live there or not, but I’d definitely prefer it over my modern day Stepford town on LI. =</p>

Random quote of the day:

“I don’t have an M.D. or Law degree. I have a bachelors in kicking ass and taking names.”

Tetris…hahahah, love it!
Dramacratic, I think it’s time for us to reprise our prior convo about the wonders of [title of show]. Anyone, anyone?

Guys i just totally like this stress free convo right now. yay! you took my advice =)
@dramactic: i still go to the city like every day because i have research lab. but i miss all my friends and the wonderful convenience of everything and the train station down the block. in long island you need a car just to go to the grocery store! smh…crazy

Mmmm, I couldn’t agree more with you!
Monkeys and Playbills is currently playing; I’m a happy camper. =]

@Adeyadi: Where’s your lab?? I just finished up (kind of) at my lab in the NYU Medical School. Hahaha, not only do you need the car, but also a massive amount of patience. But yes, I totally understand where you’re coming from, and NYC does boast a nice sense of convenience.

Drama & Adeyadi, it’s so quaint how you think LI is inconvenient. Come to rural Northern Maine, it takes two hours through the woods to get to a mall, and 30 minutes to get to a decent supermarket. So aweeesoommme :/

You’re quaint, Ivy. But we were simply differentiating between the city and LI. Maine is an entirely different story.

Providence is clearly the best place to live.

Don’t bi*** about Maine. I’m two continents away :p

I’m so quaint  I think I have to come visit you soon and judge for myself.

Just give me a date, and I shall drop everything for you. :)

well i know im late in this conversation, but in the heights is by farrrrr my favorite musical. like legit, i am obsessed. when i went to an info session at wesleyan all i could look at was the autographed poster by lin manuel in the room (i have one in my bedroom too!) i live in the bronx, can i come on the broadway tour? haha.

Hi guys. Just got done with my interview. I think it went pretty well. It wasn’t super amazing, but not bad. I’m just glad it’s over.

Continue your discussion of musicals. I haven’t seen in the heights but I’ve heard it’s excellent.
