Here is our place, we have to waaaiiiittt for a long time!!! while that happens let’s talk!

Yay us! :D

Hey t_c. My S is doing this too … unless the lightening bolt comes via Palo Alto. Not to worry, this parent will not clutter your student thread.

Soooo many essays.

Anyone applying for Brown/RISD dual degree? :P

Hey fellow Brown RD people =]

Anyone from New York?

I applied for PLME! since I discovered Brown many weeks ago I felt in love with it, is what I really need for education!

How was you application process, tell us about recommendations, essays, attc but no SAT/ACT scores, let’s wait until the decision for that!
-How many others univ have you applied?
-Is Brown your first choice?

while “they” decide our future let’s talk!

noreally yes!! I did 4 essays! wow!

I love the essays!

me too! but they were hard! I was counting the words and praying to reach the 500 words!

Hey Fellows of ED:

[Countdown to Brown University Early Decision Results](http://latinlookup.com/)

Countdown to the decision!

“Before long you’ll be relaxing on the Main Green.”

I hope so!

Here’s another Brown RDer
I didn have to write so many essays, since im probably going for history
are all of you doing ED/EA anywhere else?
Yale for me :):)

Yes, i am also applying to Yale but I love Brown!

I’m another first choice Brown RD applicant!

I would have applied ED, but a scholarship for another school that I’m in the running for requires that I not apply anywhere else that is binding. Sad :(

Buttt, I’m also applying/have applied to Harvard, Yale, UNC, Vanderbilt, Boston University, NYU, Emerson. Whew…talk about a lot of essays!

Anyway, which supplemental essay topic did everyone choose? I thought “What do you not know?” was such a genius question, but so hard to write about!

Me tooo!! Brown is definitely up there on my list of colleges. Anyways, I’m having such a hard time with the “what do you not know” essay. I feel like I’m just listing everything I don’t know, and making a fool out of myself. When the admissions ppl read my essay, they’re going to be like, “wow this girl has no creativity. She’s just stupid/ignorant.” Haha… time to get creative! >w< I’m also applying for PLME but I doubt I’ll get in. :'(

Yes, I think that is a hard topic but I choose the “Tell us about an intellectual experience, project, class, or book that has influenced or inspired you.” but my trip to Washington DC for the Inauguration of Obama was impressive for me!!! I am also applying for PLME! i can’t stop saying it! I LOVE BROWN! I had the interview with Yale and it went well! at the same time I like the Academic freedom of Brown!

I’m applying for engineering.

My dad did PLME before it was called that…

Great! engineering is a good program!!

I’m applying RD :], just sent in my app this past weekend.
I think my essays were strong, but i agree that there were a lot to write; however, Brown is the only Ivy that I’m applying to. With my stats its a big stretch, but I love the school, I have to at least try.

I just finished my app last week!

I’m thinking physics right now, but of course that is subject to change.

I absolutely LOVED the “What don’t you know?” essay. It was really interesting to write about and I thought mine came out really good. Hopefully Brown will think so too?

I’m applying (if i don’t get into MIT EA) to:
Brown, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Cornell, Penn, Stanford, Tufts, Carnegie Mellon, Johns Hopkins, RPI, Northeastern, and Boston U.
