I thought it was at 5:00 AM hahhaha, but PM is better, I was just afraid to wake up all the neighborhood because of me crying or yelling! hahhaha

so i got deferred ed from wes to rd, and now my first choice is brown (as i’m holding a grudge against wes at the moment, but i’d very likely go there if i get in regular, assuming i dont get in to brown regular). im hoping maybe brown will see something in me that wes didn’t see, beyond grades and (look more at my test scores). it’s the only other school i love at the moment.
i do love brown, and the reason i didn’t apply ed was because i was fairly confident i would get in to wes ed, and i wanted to be done with the whole thing. but i guess now im happy to have the opportunity to apply to brown.

I was deferred from Brown ED, so now I’m waiting anxiously for the end of March… and trying to finish all my other apps. I’m also applying to the Brown-RISD dual-degree. akmeecheen, what would you like to major in at Brown/RISD? I want to do fashion design and economics.

REJECTED from Yale, so now Brown is my top choice.
I think I did a pretty good job with the 'What dont you know"
It took me forever to think of the topic but only one day to write =)

don’t worry about it Rumjhum. I was a legacy at yale and my guidance counselor told me that she thought for sure I was going to get in and I got rejected. It’s a complete crapshoot. Brown is also my first choice now

The whole process does seem pretty random :

Also, Im a non US citizen who has lived in India for the first 2 years of high school and then in California for the other 2. Is this going to affect me in any way?

Applying to Brown’s c/o 2014 as well. I’m from India, lived in Singapore practically my whole life. I have academic interests in economics, political science, creative writing, sociology, math and history.
