Sorry to triple post, but I just checked and Brown has a bagillion pages for the class of 2015 o.o

This is the official one made by the admission officers. In order to join, they will check your name to a master list to verify you’ve been accepted.

Join it! It’s a lot of fun, and the people are pretty interesting :)

Nice try but guess what? I think I have a pretty decent Aid Package

no parental contribution

no loans

just a HUGE grant and a work study that only needs to cover 1800, at 9 dollars an hours

so I think I’m pretty well off at this point, I would sacrifice some of my time to work a job for tuition. So one day my children won’t have to do that and they can study longer or play a sport or something.

See you all this fall! (or at ADOCH)

I think that Brown has a no loan policy along with being need blind, so they always cover everything but expected contribution. I have work study too, though I’m gonna have to come up with 3,450 each year in addition. Not as good as my package from Georgetown, but I really couldn’t care less because it’s BROWN!!! See you at ADOCH!

It’s a shame Brown isn’t need blind for internationals… I didn’t apply for FA so I’ll have to see about external scholarships.

I’ll be crushed if the costs prevent me to attend my top choice school.

Not true - only those whose families have incomes of under $100,000 qualify for this policy.

I just committed.

Congrats Silverturtle!!!

Congratulations, silverturtle! Regardless of where you go or what you do, I wish the best of success, health, and happiness. :)

Congrats, silverturtle! :)

Is there a womens club soccer team at Brown? When I checked the link under club sports it hasn’t been updated since 2009? Info?

in order to commit, you just click the button right? it was way too simple so I’m afraid. If I log in to see my status it says “committed to Brown” but I didn’t get an email or anything

Haha I “rejected” all my other colleges yesterday. Good experience.

congrats silverturtle
what do you want to concentrate on?

Thanks for the positive words, everybody.

Yeah, you did it right. I did not receive an email either, but the matriculation packet just came.

I don’t know yet. Each of the following is in my consideration set at the moment (or some combination hereof): Math/Applied Math/Applied Math-Econ/Econ/Mathematical Econ, Cognitive Science/Linguistics, Physics, Public Policy/Political Science/International Relations. The open curriculum is unusually well suited to exploring these areas to decide which I want to pursue as a concentration or as concentrations.

Hi, I’m wondering how long it takes for the matriculation package to arrive. I’m an international student and I accepted Brown’s offer nearly a week ago.

my package arrived ~1 week after I committed, and I’m in the US, so maybe up to another week for you? Congrats :)

I’ll keep waiting thanks :)
