seem like perfectly good odds to me, though why i keep on seeing people who on paper look intelligent ask such questions that they should themselves know the answer to is beyond me.

the 5 on AP exams will help and you show dedication with your ECs. It doesn't always have to be a laundry list. Just sell yourself the right way on paper.

Yay Indians!! Happy-belated Diwali!. Lets see...your SAT's are a bit low, but acceptable. What about SAT II's does Brown ask for them? post more indepth stats, though to get more reliable info. btw. did you take 5 AP's or get 5's on them? Thats a bit vague. elaborate on your ec's and classes ect...
Good luck.
ps. Look at my post, its quite originally titled, "Stanford EA" lol

don't worry about the AP's I definatly only got 4's excpet for a 3 on BC calc. but I got a 4 as my AB subscore. I don't think colleges really care about AP scores. look at my post please!! its titled quite originally, "stanford EA" lol thanks,
Vaish
ick I have the first AP bio test of the year tommorrow. I'm scared. did anyone take Bio last year? if so how hard was it? I mean I know it varies from school to school, but just to get an idea...

ps. how many Indians live in Idaho? seriously...

hmm. in eastern idaho, which has about 250000 people, there are about a total of 25 indians, and like 10 indians directly from india who came to study at idaho state university..(bleah..i dont know how they can do that)

eastern idaho covers about 1/4 of idaho....so about a radius of 100 miles, or an area of like 300000 miles squared....

in Boise, our biggest city, there are a lot of indians, but i dont know how many..

i am the only indian in high school in eastern idaho lol

wow, I'm sorry. I don't know what I'd do w/o my indian friends. They're kinda seperate from my school friends, but are a HUGE part of my life. But wow I'm really not the only Indian at my school. I mean I live in MN, there aren't that many here either. You can always come visit me, if you need Indian friends. Though, they can give you a complex when they're always like, "oh no I got a 790 ont eh SAT II my mom is going to kill me" and you're like shut up! but its so much fun. We do dances to Hindi songs at Diwali and Holi shows, and its a big deal... wow who would go to Idaho state from India?? lol

sup indian kid. IMHO your SAT scores are too low for Brown. You need to be more typical Indian and get 800M. A 1450-60 would definitely seal it. (I dont know how weighted GPAs work) My brother (a fellow Indian [obviously]) got into Cornell with a 1490 and 3.8 GPA (un-weighted?)
How are the potatoes? I'm sure your mom puts a lot of potatoes in your chicken curry.
Good Luck.

come on now, maybe he's veg like me. Even then though aloo curry is good. yeah lets not talk about the 800M Indian kids, I def only got 690M. man I wish Indian kids weren't as smart as they are. It makes it difficult for people like me... oh well. Everyone check out my thread please!! ITs the "stanford EA" one. in know original title. whatever...
good luck
