Brown Class of 2017 RD!

T-minus 10 hours for me (I’m a 7pm-er).

I’m going to cry.

I’m jumping out of a window. Nice meeting you guys.

It’s been real, kids.

TRUUUU CHAINZ.

Good luck

How do you know what time it’s released for your state?

They should have sent you an email.

I’m a 7 PMer as well (6 PM here). California to Mississippi seems to be an awkward way to divide America, but I’m sure there’s some reason to it.

sweating bullets here. Its midnight here in Malaysia and I don’t think i’ll be sleeping …

omg, that’s soo not fair!

@AsFairAsMorn: how do you get in contact with your regional admissions officer?

@br, she’s a ■■■■■. if an admissions officer wanted to give her good news early, she’d have gotten a likely.

The screens just changed on the site where you used to be able to check the status of your application to see if everything was received (not the actual decision website, but the application tracking one). It will still let you log in and it now has a link that takes you to your decision!

I have no shot at getting into Brown, but I’m totally fine with it. Best of luck to you all! I was rejected from my dream school last week and while it still stings, I’ve gotten into another great college and everything is looking good. When all is said and done, you’ll fall in love with wherever you end up. :)

The link doesn’t show the decision - it just shows a “check here later” message.

I haven’t been that scared for nothing since the Mayans’ predicted doomsday.

@spoons91: hahahhahah you guys’ comments… if your essays showcased your witty personalities, I’m sure you’ll all most definitely get accepted :P

Of course^

What did you guys write about, or maybe more interesting, what was your quirkiness answer for the supplement?

Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2

I wrote about a couple things – my grandmother’s wish for me to attend Brown, since when she was young she couldn’t afford to, and as stated before, I also wrote a rather sassy short essay on perspective.

^sassy.

there were a lot of essays haha I talked about food + family in one. I talked about a painting I did (the one what are you most proud of?)… can’t remember the rest right now. I think what makes my application a bit interesting (if I may say) is that I’m really into arts (painting, drawing) and really into science. I want to be a doctor :)

I just realized something. Brown sent me an email that let me know when decisions would be posted, but said they would not be mailing decision letters. But their admissions facebook page talks about “snail mail.” So did they just indicate to me that I was rejected because they don’t send decision letters for people who were rejected?
