anyone here hasn’t received any email or call for interview!

@cynicalpeace
Hmmm that’s really odd, but the optimist in me says it could mean good things for you.

@CynicalPeace You probably know more than me about this, but my friend is applying to Brown through Questbridge and he told me that Questbridge applicants don’t get an interview, so that’s probably why.

I just got an email about skype interview from Brown! Thank god. I was worried about not being contacted.

I sat down with an Yale admissions officer that walked me through the process they go through and they said interviews are mainly to fact check. They know the interviewer’s opinions on whether you might be a good fit could be based on a multitude of different things, so that part is pretty much irrelevant. Lol It might be the same for Brown, but I’m not saying a really good interview doesn’t help… just that an uncomfortable one won’t change much. However, the interviewer does need to express to Brown on whether they think your motives for applying are genuine, which I’m sure they are! I think all of you will be fine if you really are the right fit :-)

@QQQ1997 no interview contact for me either I called last week about something else and they said if I haven’t heard by the end of this week call admissions.

Are we supposed to call the admission office if we don’t get interview contact by the end of this week? 8-}

should we call or email them, I am afraid that they are too busy to answer the calls.

Does anyone know if they are going to ask for our quarter grades or if they have in the past?

I applied ED and Brown just contacted my high school yesterday for my first term grades.

@ebrook9596 your counselor has to submit them with one of the supplements in the common app (the mid year one i think).

As for international interviews I got contacted by an alumn and I’m doing it via phone. Good luck guys!!

@lax1997 @Andycoyote23 Thanks, I just wasn’t sure and neither was my counselor.

We live in Minnesota/Minneapolis and my S has applied for the PLME / ED. But have not gotten any interview calls/emails yet. Is any one here from the Twin Cities. Have you already gotten your interview… any inputs/thoughts… my S is very nervous now as it is already end of Nov 18th…

Just got contacted for an alumni interview here in New York. I’m sweating buckets here already and the interview isn’t for another couple days

Good luck for your interview @Anduar3!

What did you guys say in your email to the admissions office to contact them about an alumni interview? I don’t want to sound too pushy, I know they have a lot of stuff like that coming in.

Want to share this info to all. Earlier yesterday I was looking for answers to the question “Will the uploading more & more supplemental OVERWRITEs or APPENDs?”. Brown’s response is “APPENDs”. Please watch out when you are uploading 2nd time onwards. Good luck to all.

Lots of questions about interviews… Please read the first post in this thread (one of the singularly most informative on this entire site, IMHO)

How are we supposed to submit updated resume? If submitted files append, I wonder whether the admissions can recognize the updated resume…since it’s one line update somewhere in the resume… :((
