**Brown Class of 2020 RD applicant thread**

This year is a Leap Year…therefore, they should release decisions on March 30th to compensate for the extra day.

@schroscat I dare you to call them and inform them of that.

@mjstewart1224 Would they appreciate that? I could just not mention my name…hmmmm…hMMMM…very enticing.

@Malcomx99 I have theatre to keep me busy but it’s still killing me??? aaaaaah

I spend a lot of time watching Brown youtube videos and honestly it just makes me even more anxious

I have nothing to consume my thoughts! just a growing hatred for my school.

I wish I were in high school. Honestly, I do. Doing this all as a grown-ass adult with no homework or extracurriculars to distract me sucks. I think about it all day at work.

@yankxy did your friend receive the LL in the mail or by e-mail?

@schroscat Brown likes quirkiness and stuff, so you calling them and telling them about releasing decisions a day earlier might come off as witty and just might put a smile on their faces. Or it could backfire :’)

@McKilla99 @kunchandak thx guys ur right i probably shouldn’t get my hopes up

@PakiWiz She got it in the mail

@Yankxy yeah only a very small percentage of those who are admitted receive a likely letter, so you’ve still got just as good a chance of getting in even if you don’t get a likeley letter.

I just realized that March 31st is in the middle of tech week, so I won’t be home till at least 8 D: something tells me that I’m not going to be very productive at tech that day lol

@wonderlanddd Good ol’ hell week. I’m in the middle of it right now I-)

@epoque, for your interview, relax, be yourself, and use the interview as the opportunity to express aspects of who you are as a person that can’t be conveyed in a transcript or essay. It’s one of the opportunities to give Brown a glimpse into your character and passion. My daughter was accepted ED this year, and her interview focused a bit on “why brown” as you’d expect, but evolved into what she was looking for, had done to express her passions, and how she challenged herself to explore those interests. Good luck to you!

@violintigress Don’t fret over your scores - the 2200 is admirable (particularly if it’s a single test score), and a 4.89 will be weighed against your school’s curriculum. It’s not an absolute value. A greater metric to ponder would be, have you taken the most rigorous classes your school has offered, and how you did in them.

@SnapApp Ah, hell week. It’s going well, I hope?

Did everyone get this new tab? Pretty sure it wasn’t there before.

Since *** is apparently censored here, the tab says:
" Upload Financial Aid Documents
Use this link to upload documents for submission to the Office of Financial Aid."

@RightHand, yes, its probably for everyone.

International applicant here! Good luck to everyone. Less than a month till notifications >.<

Hey, what do you guys think of this HuffPost article. Apparently, some kid got interviewed at Brown. And the interviewer told him Brown was racist/not accepting. And was not as diverse, as it claimed to be. The interviewer also used derogatory terms to describe the Asian community, and how scarce, their numbers, actually were at Brown/Providence.

All I have to say is that Beth in Brown’s financial aid office is very nice and patient.
