**Brown Class of 2020 RD applicant thread**

I got rejected. It was stupid to even think I could get wait listed. Congrats to everyone who got in

S got in Brown PLME

@StevieMHS Yeah, I can’t find it either…

OH MY GOSH I GOT ACCEPTED INTO BROWN PLME HOW DID THIS HAPPEN

@jorjimarie my stats are good. i mean i am an URM, low income , woman interested in science, i got a 2040 sat score which is i guess ok. I know i like medicine but im like super conflicted to some extent

@Kasami

I also got Emory but no FA, so no.
Currently between JHU and Cornell, but probably Cornell
Hoping for Yale, Brown, or UChicago to accept me off the waitlist
But for now, come to Cornell with me :stuck_out_tongue:

I got accepted.
BUT I forgot to submit fafsa, and css… HELP?

I got in. I’m thrilled.

Son was accepted!

Right now I’m stuck between Brown and Johns Hopkins. My heart is telling me Brown, but I received way less financial aid from there. One of the financial aid messages says that if you got a much better offer from another school, you can submit the award you received. I uploaded the award I received from Columbia, which was a good $10,000 cheaper annually. Does anyone have any experience with this? Does Brown usually reconsider their financial aid offers? I would really love to attend, but as of right now, I don’t think I can afford to.

Anybody else waitlisted who applied to PLME??

how do you accept your spot on the wait list? help plz

W

Help… Brown, Georgetown or Nyu for international business?

Damn. Just rejected. This is the only one that’s actually stung. That’s all the colleges I applied to, anyway. Looks like it’s community college for me. I’d say it’s humbling but I’m a little sour about it right now.

Brown was the one I gave my all. This sucks.

@justsemantics did you ever figure out what happened with your app? I am dying to know why they required a phone call…

@MohTamer Seems like I might end up going to haha! We’ll see. Are you going to any admitted student days?

Got in. Brown vs. MIT vs Dartmouth. damn

@agrimon when you say in-state tuition … are you comparing with a private college in-state or public?
Sorry I am asking these questions because I am comparing between GA Tech (public) , Emory and Brown.

GA Tech (in-state) tuition: 9,812
Emory tuition: 46,300
Brown: 51,366

@mitoops congrats! let me guess … are you going to MIT?
