care to tell us about the questions?
Itâll be different for every interview, mine started out normal: tell me about yourself; why do you like the Open Curriculum; whatâs an obstacle youâve overcome and how, etc. Then she started asking things like: describe yourself in three words; what animal would you be and why; what historical figure would you most like to eat dinner with, describe your surroundings (the cafe we were in). It was like an online personality quiz and kind of caught me off guard, but it led to much better conversation.
I got contacted for an interview!
Anyone here doing regular decision and the PLME? The essays are excruciatingly long!
@h0kulani I would love to have longer essays. Some of the supplements for Brown were excruciatingly short. The 100-word ones nearly killed me lol.
@h0kulani I applied to the PLME ED. Their essays were long but incredibly revealing of my passion for medicine. IMO, the length of the essays is absolutely necessary for such a prestigious and focused program.
Good luck with your essays!
whatis plme?
@h0kulani
Yes, RD PLME applicant here as well.
I had my interview today! It went on really well and he told me I would be the best fit to brown. all alumni say that tho lol he even gave me his business card to contact him whenever I have questions I was really stressing out because of the interview but it rlly turned out well thx god
For ED applicants, did anyone else get an alumni interview via phone instead of in person? Do you have any tips for this?
My brother received a likely letter on Tuesday!
@BamBam7 is he a recruited athlete?
Can you post his stats? @BamBam7
Is anyone applying to Brown without subject tests? My D was considering Brown for one of her reaches but thinks she may be an auto-reject since she never took subject tests.
Has anyone here noticed that the aid calculator for Brown comes out with an EFC much higher than even FAFSA? In our case it was 30% higher.
Hi, what do everyoneâs portals look like? After reading the Brown 2021 threads, I am worried. My daughterâs does not look anything like what the 2021 applicants describedâŠhers has three columns: status, details, date. Everyone in 2021 is talking about 4 columns? Nervous
^ I forgot to mention that she applied ED
My daughter applied without as well! Iâm hoping it wonât be a major factor because it says recommended and not required, but I am not sure
When do decisions come out?
@gsocuw By the 15th.
Does anyone know when they came out last year?
