Hi! Kind of similar to the above question. I got an email about financial aid and was wondering if everyone else did too. Additionally, i forgot to upload a CSS profile and was wondering if that will affect me negatively come admission time. Thanks!
@dc4235 No worries, I got the same email even though I uploaded both the CSS profile and the FAFSA on time. I donāt know whether itās too late for your CSS to be considered but Iām sure it will be fine. I think you should call the financial aid office as soon as possible to explain that you didnāt upload it yet and hopefully theyāll be able to help
wooo i finally had my interview
@gsocuw I thought the interview forms were due on the first haha??
@gingerbread1999 please donāt stress out about it!! Iām sure admissions will just assume you decided not to apply for FA. Out of all the components of an application, I doubt one āintend to apply for financial aidā checked box would make or break anything. Youāre clearly a qualified applicant if you decided to apply to Brown ED, so please just enjoy this last week before ED results come out!
@AverageTeen2000 thatās what i thought, but i was contacted after the 1st so iām thinking it should be alright? not sure though tbh
On the Facebook page, it says, āalmost two weeks leftā until ED decisions are released.
So decisions are probably coming out on the 19th or 20th.
@strobr nope, that post is from a while ago. Still coming out around 14/15
no - that post was from yesterday ā¦ which was 12/4 - so adding 14 to that is that the decisions will be out before 12/18? Guess that is pretty close to 12/14-15
@mclmom yesterday was the 6th. Also, that post is from a week ago. The post from yesterday says nothing about a decision date.
@mclmom Just realized you were referring to FaceBook-- that same post was on Instagram a week ago. I think they literally just copied and pasted it without bothering to change āalmost two weeksā
Had the same issue. Emailed office fin aid today and they immediately responded saying that failure to do the CSS profile does NOT affect admission decisions but could DELAY financial aid award determination.
I called Brown admissions to ask if there were any updates on the official decision release date and they said no
@jackal278 what do you mean no updates?
@sciencenerd123 I mean no official release date for ED decisions as of yet. Nobody seems to know the exact date
Guys, i heard that Admissions was not aware that they have published inconsistent test requirements for ED PLME!!!
They received lots of email from students on this!!!
This is why they are not telling us when they will publish the ED results!!!
Well, the next few weeks are going to be difficult without an official release dateā¦
@timchen Hey, you too! Did you apply PLME ED?
I am hoping they are releasing the results next week as well! I canāt wait.
